How To Install NDS4iOS Nintendo DS Emulator on iOS 10.0 – 10.3.1 (No Jailbreak / No Computer) iPhone, iPod touch & iPad

2

NDS4iOS is one of the most well-known Nintendo DS emulator apps available for iOS. It makes it very easy for anyone to play their favourite Nintendo DS games on their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad for absolutely nothing!

For a long time this app was only available to people with jailbroken devices, however in recent years is has become possible to install this app without the need of a jailbreak. These methods can be a little temperamental so new websites are always showing up with the ability to install them.

Requirements & Notes

  • This does not require a jailbroken device.
  • This app is signed and can be revoked at any time by Apple. If this happens the app will start to crash. To fix this, re-download the app and try again. If this does not fix the issue then try again in a few days.
  • You should only download games you own physical copies of to avoid breaking the law.
  • For some reason Tutu decided to remove NDS4iOS from their store, but you can still install it using the updated guide below.

  4. Tap one of the menus within this page until you find the one containing TutuHelper. Tap ‘Trust’ twice and the app will become trusted.
  5. Now that the TutuApp is installed, you need to install NDS4iOS separately. Navigate to this page in Safari on your iOS device. Tap the ‘Apps‘ tab near the top of the page to view the available apps.
  6. Scroll down until you find the NDS4iOS app. When you do, tap on it to bring up the install page. Tap the ‘Install‘ button at the bottom, and a pop-up should appear asking if you want to install the NDS4iOS application. Tap the ‘Install‘ button, then the app should begin to install.

Adding Games

  1. Download and install the free zip rar tool application from the app store.
  2. Open the Safari app on your device and navigate to a website which you can download NDS roms from. To find one, simply search for ‘nds roms‘ on Google.

If you are able to open in NDS4iOS, use that option and skip steps 5 to 7. If you do not see this option, then open the file in zip rar tool.
  5. Once the zip rar tool app opens, you will be asked if you want to extract the file. Tap on the ‘OK‘ button to unzip it.
